Great Canfield Parish Council is committed to respecting and protecting the confidentiality of any personal information that you provide to us. 
The Parish Council is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other legislation relating to personal data and rights, such as the Human Rights Act.

Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act grants to members of the public rights of access to all kinds of recorded information held by a wide range of public authorities. Information about the Act is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office at http://www.ico.gov.uk/
​The Act requires every public authority to adopt and maintain a generic model publication scheme which should be adopted and operated by all public authorities from 1 January 2009.  Great Canfield Parish Council adopted the generic model publication scheme which provides a list of all the information the Council will make routinely available, explain how it can be accessed (either via the Parish Council website or in hard copy) and whether or not a charge will be made for it.
