Oktoberfest 2016 at the Village Hall

This year's (belated) Oktoberfest celebration was held at the village hall and we enjoyed a full house with over 70 guests. We served orthodox Oktoberfest beers including Hacker Pschorr, Löwenbräu & Paulaner and  of course some Reisling for non-beer drinkers. Food was traditional Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and German Potato salad (made with Red onions, Bacon and Celery) - we even had veggie versions!

Everyone was in good spirits and joined in singing "Ein Prosit" (a toast) - another Oktoberfest tradition.
