Saturday, 15^th January 2011 – A New Year Quiz “Nite”

               The first Quiz Nite of the New Year will be held in the Village Hall on Saturday, 15^th January 2011, starting at 7.30pm. This will be on lines similar to previous such events, with the usual smattering of impossible questions, dodgy answers and the ensuing debate !!! As usual the winners will be rewarded each with a bottle of “plonk”, obtained at great expense by the Village Hall Committee.

               Cost of the evening, to include a fish and chip supper, will be £8.00 per head. There will not be a bar, so you should bring your own drinks, and sufficient cash to acquire tickets for the end of evening raffle. Teams of up to eight persons are invited to enter, but if you are a smaller group, or just a couple, and would like to join another table of local “experts”, that can easily be arranged.
