Decision required on whether a Parish Council meeting is held in August.
BT Phone Kiosk, currently waiting for BT to send their ‘Notice to Complete’, at which point legal ownership transfers.Clerk chasing for update.

To debate and agree on the use of the VDS as guidance by the Parish Council when dealing with planning applications.

9.PARISH COUNCIL ACTIONS FROM THE VILLAGE MEETING (10 mins) – CllrSams
Following the Annual Village Meeting held in April 2010 a number of suggestions/requests were raised by residents which fall under the remit of the Parish Council.Whilst a number of these items have been discussed and progressed two points remain outstanding for a decision on whether any action is required.
a)Suggestion on cultivating some or all of the Village Triangles.
b)Issue with litter on the verges which is thrown from vehicles.Is it possible to provide litter bins at entrance to village especially on slower junctions?Also some sort of sign on entry into the village, e.g. ‘Please respect our village’.
10.MAINTENANCE OF THE VILLAGE PONDS AND LITTER PICK (5 mins) – All
To consider any work required to maintain the village ponds and to consider whether an Autumn litter pick is necessary.
11.THE USE OF THE LEISURE AND SHOPPER BUS (5 mins) - Cllr Salmon
Essex County Council has been in discussion with UCT about funding. We now need 7-8 passengers weekly to justify the running costs.How can we encourage the village to use it or lose it?

12.1.Footpaths, Byways, Bridleways and Greens (10 mins) – Cllr Sives
At the corner of Cuckoos Lane and Green Street (west side) the drainage from the road to the ditch is blocked causing flooding when it rains in this area. The grip (channel between ditch and the road edge) needs to be dug out and cleared to enable the rain water to drain away into the ditch.
