Footpath Maps – Latitude Maps have confirmed they will print the map/s using light-fast ink. Two laminated copies would cost £70.00 + Vat at either A1 or A0 size. Cllr Vincett to update on whether planning permission is required. With this information a decision is required on whether the maps are required and if so, the locations.
The Commission for Rural Communities, (CRC), confirmed their deadline for publishing information on mobile phone coverage is the end of July. This will not allow time for information to be obtained via the newsletter. Cllr Mackley provided a response which the Clerk submitted on behalf of the Parish Council, in summary the level of coverage is considered ‘poor’.
Declaration of Interest for Cllrs who are trustees of charitable organisations, Clerk to update.
Update on letter to Uttlesford District Council on campaign about anti-littering and wider issues around taking pride in where we live, link with request from the Probation Service.
Essex County Council public consultation on changes in responsibility to concessionary travel passes. Poster on noticeboard at Hope End, decision required to include in newsletter.

Cllr Sams received an invitation from Stop Stansted Expansion to attend a reception at the House of Commons hosted by Sir Alan Hazelhurst on 15th July. Cllr Sams is unable to attend. Is anyone attending?
Clerk responded to a request from Essex County Council on retail services in the village. This is part of a process to put together a range of support, advice and guidance for independent retail businesses across Essex.
Clerk responded to a request from EALC on Parish Council insurance. This is to assist in negotiations with AON Ltd to try to secure improved benefits for those Councils who insure with them.

Resident letter on verge repairs which suggests Essex Highways are demonstrating a ‘tacit acceptance …..of a permanently enlarged road width’. Parish Council to consider an approach to Essex Highways, and agree a response to the resident.
Cuckoos Lane and Ashfields – Following recent issues on vehicles using incorrect access road a decision is required on the action to take.
White Lines at Cuckoo Lanes – Work should be completed prior to PC meeting following discussion with Ashfields resident.

10.2. UTT/0998/07 Canfield Drive Caravan Pitch – Resident raised concerns regarding compliance with conditions. Clerk has written to Uttlesford DC for clarification of conditions. Agree any further action. Response is pending from Essex CC following letter to Leader of County Council and CEO.
